This salty needlepoint canvas is in the style of mid-century artist Robert Indiana, whose iconic 'LOVE' design of the late 1960s has been replicated in countless variations. I first stitched this as a pillow commission several years ago--I enlarged the design of a vintage pillow produced by Woolworks, a needlepoint shop in New York (and I reproduce it here with the owner's permission). This canvas is a four-inch square is painted in shades of gray so that you can choose your own colors! This can be finished as an ornament, coaster, small tray, purse insert, or patch, among other options.
