Design size: 4.5 x 8.5 inches
Canvas size: 9 x 12 inches
Mesh size: 18
Needle included; canvas does not come stitched or with threads.
Leather finishing by Pinnell Custom Leather in Crozet, Virginia. I used Appletons crewel wool in the stitched sample.
- Background: 902
- Spots: 586 dark brown
- Spot centers: 697
- For the stripe I used black for the center instead of blue and used DMC pearl cotton colors 930, 807, and white; and Vineyard Merino in Lipstick
If you are stitching this canvas to be made into a wallet, I highly suggest using wool, and stitching on stretcher bars to keep your canvas as square as possible.
The last image shows the exact stitch count for each color to give you a rough guideline of how many yards you may need. Stitch a yard of thread and count the number of stitches you get (generally between 100 and 120), and divide the number of stitches by that number to get the approximate number of yards you will need.
