Adapted from a 19th-century needlework pattern, this needlepoint canvas is decorated with large red paisleys (or boteh) and other traditional motifs found on textiles popular at the time. There is space at the lower right corner to add your initials if you wish. This shape will finish into a handbag or cross-body bag. The purse (and matching wallet) in the images was finished by Pinnell Custom Leather in Crozet, Virginia.
Stitch painted on 100% cotton Zweigart mono deluxe canvas.
