Inspired by 18th-and 19th-century French textiles, this needlepoint canvas for a striped bag folds to form a wide gusset at the bottom--ideal for holding your things! Gradients of color create an ombré effect and the floral stripes imitate chiné (warp dyed) patterns.
This canvas is stitch printed in the US by Pixels on Cotton, using archival ink in a patent-pending process that achieves a perfectly clear pattern for stitching. On 100% cotton Zweigart mono deluxe canvas.

Approximate finished size: 5.75 inches high, 8.75 inches cross top, 7 inches across bottom, 2.25 inches deep at bottom.
**Important: Check with your finisher about any requirements they may have for extra rows that need to be stitched around the perimeter of the design! When finished in leather, I had to stitch an addition five rows around all sides but the top; in fabric, I only had to stitch one additional row inside the corner cut outs only. Ask before you start--it's best if you can keep additional rows in pattern.
